50 GOLDEN YEARS OF DEDICATION TO THE CAUSE
Having served the Red Cross as a dedicated social worker for nearly five decades now (1967-2017), Mahesh Trivedi has also received honour from the President of India for his outstanding services as a Red Cross Volunteer and for the cause of promotion of Voluntary Blood Donation. When he completed his 99th Blood Donation, Late Dr. V. G. Mavalankar challenged him to motivate a brigade of 1,000 blood donors in the next 3 months and he successfully achieved the mission by organizing 9 Blood Donation camps proving his worth as a champion crusader of the movement.
ACTIVE CAMPAIGNES OF THALASSEMIA CAP MISSION
He has authored a book of inspiring stories on Blood Donation. Over the years, he has zealously campaigned for Thalassemia Care, Awareness and Prevention (CAP) Mission and Organ Donation Movement of the Ahmedabad Red Cross.
