Sundip Shah

Sundip Shah, an Electronic and Communications Engineer and a data communication specialist, runs an independent business dealing with sales and service of computers and peripherals, and is known for his association with many charitable organizations like SEWA, Gandhi Ashram, Institute of Indology, etc. and his contribution to computerizing their systems and records. He is also the Secretary of the Indo Japanese Friendship Association.

Selfless, passionate, persevering, enthusiastic, dedicated and blessed with a strong moral compass, Sundip Shah has been associated with the Red Cross for over two decades and is currently the Hon. Treasurer. He was primarily responsible for computerizing all the different processes of the Red Cross and helped in implementation of various initiatives taken up by the organization. His association goes a long way back to 2002, after which in 2007, he was felicitated by the Governor of Gujarat for his contribution to the Red Cross. He was actively involved in the coming up of the Shatabdi Bhavan and was entirely responsible for the implementation of “State of Art” IT initiatives and low voltage equipment installation. Amongst several other initiatives, that he took up to streamline the activities and the day to day operations, the Blood-o-Pedia has been widely acclaimed for its concept and design.

He is currently focussed on CSR collections for the Red Cross to upgrade all systems further and to implement “Care, Awareness and Prevention” for thalassemia children amongst a number of other initiatives.
