Dr. Kalyani Trivedi is a highly respected orthodontist and dental surgeon, renowned for her clinical acumen, academic rigor, and leadership across both science and the arts. With over three decades of experience in dental education and administration, she has established herself as a guiding force in the field. She has held prominent positions such as Dean of Darshan Dental College, Udaipur, and Vice Principal at Karnavati School of Dentistry, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Her commitment to excellence in education is reflected in the many postgraduate and Ph.D. students she has mentored over the years, as well as in her strong dedication to research and academic development.

Professionally, Dr. Trivedi has made significant contributions to the dental fraternity. She served as President of the Indian Dental Association (Ahmedabad Branch) from 2005 to 2006 and was Honorary Treasurer of the Indian Orthodontic Society for four consecutive years. In addition, she served three terms as an executive committee member of the Society. Her subject expertise and thought leadership have made her a regular guest speaker at national and international conferences, where her lectures are widely appreciated for their clarity, depth, and relevance.

Beyond her academic and clinical accomplishments, Dr. Trivedi has shown unwavering commitment to public health. She has led and participated in numerous oral health awareness lectures and free dental check-up camps for underserved communities. Her long-standing involvement with the Indian Red Cross Society includes two terms as a management committee member and her current role as Vice Chairperson of the Ahmedabad branch. Since 2021, she has also served as Blood Donation Programme Coordinator and heads the Thalassaemia Care, Awareness, and Prevention Programme. A 40-time blood donor, she exemplifies personal dedication to humanitarian causes.

Dr. Trivedi’s life and work extend well beyond the world of medicine. She is an accomplished Bharatnatyam exponent, having performed solo concerts in India and internationally. She has conducted lecture-demonstrations at esteemed institutions such as the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. A disciple of Pandit Jasraj, she is trained in Hindustani classical music and has nurtured a deep passion for the visual arts, holding multiple successful painting exhibitions over the years.
